Job Description

A Global manufacturer with a strong focus on the automotive sector is looking for an experienced

IT Vendor \& Service Delivery Manager

to lead outsourcing governance, supplier management, and IT infrastructure service delivery as part of its large-scale post-merger IT transformation.

This management role focuses on outsourcing strategy, provider governance, contract management, infrastructure service delivery, and post-merger operational readiness. You will work closely with global IT teams, business stakeholders, and external service providers to establish a sustainable outsourcing model, drive operational excellence, and ensure high-quality infrastructure services across the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the establishment of the organization's IT infrastructure outsourcing operating model following the post-merger integration
  • Develop and implement governance frameworks for global outsourcing provider management
  • Define outsourcing standards, operational models, and governance processes aligned with global IT strategy
  • Represent the outsourcing function within global infrastructure governance and working groups
  • Act as the primary point of contact for strategic infrastructure outsourcing providers
  • Lead contract negotiations, operational discussions, and supplier governance activities
  • Monitor provider performance against SLAs, KPIs, and contractual commitments
  • Build strong long-term relationships with outsourcing partners while driving continuous service improvements
  • Ensure stable delivery of outsourced IT infrastructure services throughout the carve-out and post-merger transition
  • Monitor operational performance, service quality, stability, and efficiency
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across outsourced infrastructure operations
  • Drive operational excellence through effective vendor collaboration and governance
  • Lead outsourcing-related workstreams supporting enterprise infrastructure transformation
  • Manage project scope, schedule, budget, quality, and deliverables within assigned programs
  • Support knowledge transfer and operational transition from Daimler Truck to the new organization
  • Contribute to long-term IT infrastructure strategy and transformation initiatives
  • Lead the Outsourcing Provider Management function within the Infrastructure organization
  • Collaborate with Infrastructure, Application, Business, Procurement, and Global IT teams
  • Coordinate with international stakeholders across multiple business units and regions
  • Drive alignment between business objectives, supplier capabilities, and global infrastructure strategy

Required Skills:

  • 5\+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure with significant experience managing outsourcing providers
  • Strong knowledge of Enterprise IT Infrastructure including Cloud, Network, Data Center, and Digital Workplace environments
  • Experience managing IT outsourcing vendors, supplier governance, and contract negotiations
  • Strong understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM), SLAs, KPIs, and operational governance
  • Experience managing infrastructure implementation, migration, and operational support services
  • Proven experience managing supplier relationships, budgets, contracts, and vendor performance
  • Strong project management, stakeholder management, analytical, and communication skills
