Job Description

Senior Full-Stack Engineer, AI-Native HealthTech

Compensation:

$175K–$225K base \+ strong equity

Location:

NYC — 5 days onsite

An early-stage HealthTech company building AI-powered software for behavioral health clinicians and private practices.

This team is creating an AI-native operating system for behavioral health, helping clinicians reduce administrative work, automate documentation, streamline billing workflows, and better support patients across the full care journey. The product is already embedded in millions of patient encounters and is now expanding into a broader intelligence layer for clinical and operational workflows.

This is a high-ownership engineering role for someone who wants to build quickly, work close to users, and shape product direction from the earliest stages.

What You’ll Do

  • Ship user-facing features end-to-end across frontend, backend, infrastructure, database, and AI workflows
  • Build and scale shared AI infrastructure powering intelligence across the platform
  • Work directly with founders, product, and customers to turn feedback into shipped product
  • Contribute to frontend, UX, and design-adjacent decisions
  • Improve developer tooling, internal systems, and infrastructure velocity
  • Ship practical, high-impact features in days rather than weeks

What You’ll Bring

  • 3–6 years of production engineering experience
  • Strong full-stack ability and comfort owning features end-to-end
  • Startup, product-heavy, or fast-moving team experience
  • High agency, strong user intuition, and a bias toward shipping
  • Familiarity with AI-native development workflows such as Cursor, Claude Code, or similar tools
  • Comfort with ambiguity, rapid iteration, and direct customer feedback
  • A generalist mindset and excitement for early-stage company building

Why Join?

This is not a ticket-taking role. You’ll help define product direction, talk to users, own outcomes, and build systems that accelerate the entire company.

You’ll join a small, highly product-focused team with strong runway, meaningful traction, and a mission-driven product serving clinicians and behavioral health practices. The role offers significant visibility, real ownership, and the chance to shape a company at a very early stage.
