About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Software Developer with a strong proficiency in React and a keen eye for visual design and user experience. In this role, you will be instrumental in implementing engaging and efficient user interfaces in collaboration with our Product Designers, API Developers, and fellow Frontend Developers. Your responsibilities will include developing new features, updating existing interfaces, and fixing bugs to ensure seamless user interactions. You will participate actively in the feature design process, contributing your expertise to enhance our platform’s usability and performance. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic startup environment where innovation and agility are valued. The ideal candidate will be motivated, self-directed, and eager to stay abreast of emerging trends in UI/UX design and front-end development.

Qualifications

• 3\+ years of experience in UI/UX design and development
• 3\+ years of experience in responsive design using CSS/SCSS with a strong understanding of cross-browser compatibility and Flexbox
• 3\+ years of experience building single-page applications with JavaScript frameworks such as React or similar
• Proficient in version control tools, particularly Git
• Experience with component-driven development for scalable front-end engineering
• Excellent knowledge of data structures and algorithms
• Ability to work independently and motivate oneself in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to work additional hours to meet project deadlines
• Experience with Node.js, Docker, and PostgreSQL is a plus

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement user interfaces for complex, data-heavy web applications
• Design and build UI components for updates, new features, bug fixes, and new product launches
• Evaluate and update platform design standards to ensure consistency and usability
• Stay informed about emerging design and user experience trends to incorporate innovative solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Designers and API Developers to deliver seamless user experiences
• Continuously explore, evaluate, and adopt new technologies to enhance development efficiency
• Participate actively in a startup environment, managing multiple priorities and adapting to changing requirements
