Projects may involve building envelope restoration, façade rehabilitation, civil/site improvements, occupied building renovations, construction administration, inspections, and consulting assignments across multifamily, commercial, and institutional properties.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced consulting environment, enjoys managing multiple moving pieces simultaneously, and is comfortable serving as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, boards, and project teams.

Position Overview

We’re seeking experienced Project Managers and Construction Consultants with backgrounds in construction management, building envelope consulting, civil/site work, restoration, engineering consulting, or construction administration.

This role combines project leadership, field/site responsibilities, technical coordination, and client-facing communication. Candidates should be comfortable managing budgets, schedules, meetings, contractor coordination, and project documentation while ensuring successful execution of projects from start to finish.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage projects from pre-construction planning through construction closeout
  • Conduct site inspections, field observations, evaluations, and progress assessments
  • Coordinate with clients, contractors, consultants, ownership groups, and internal project teams
  • Prepare and manage project schedules, budgets, cash flow tracking, and reporting documentation
  • Review construction documents, specifications, shop drawings, submittals, RFIs, and change orders
  • Support contractor procurement, bid review, and proposal evaluations
  • Monitor construction activities for compliance with project documents, codes, and quality standards
  • Lead project meetings, track action items, and maintain regular communication with stakeholders
  • Prepare technical reports, progress updates, meeting minutes, and client-facing presentations
  • Review payment applications, invoices, and contractor deliverables for accuracy and compliance
  • Identify project risks, schedule impacts, and cost concerns while proactively driving solutions
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering and consulting teams to support successful project delivery

What You Bring

  • 3\+ years of experience in construction management, engineering consulting, building envelope consulting, restoration, civil/site work, or related industries
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred
  • Strong understanding of construction administration processes, scheduling, budgeting, and project coordination
  • Experience working on occupied buildings, restoration projects, or active construction sites preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and communicate effectively with clients and project stakeholders
  • Strong organizational, technical writing, and project documentation skills
  • Experience reviewing construction documents, submittals, RFIs, and contractor change orders
  • Comfortable balancing office responsibilities with field/site work
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites as needed

Nice to Have

  • Building envelope, façade, roofing, waterproofing, or restoration experience
  • Civil/site construction project experience
  • General Contractor License, Building Inspector License, or OSHA certification
  • Experience with Microsoft Project or project scheduling software
  • AutoCAD or construction document review experience
  • Engineering or technical consulting background

  • Microsoft Project (preferred)
  • AutoCAD/Revit exposure (preferred)
  • Construction scheduling and project tracking tools
