Job Overview:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented

Junior DevOps Engineer

to join our growing technology team. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who is passionate about automation, cloud infrastructure, and continuous improvement. You will work closely with development and operations teams to streamline deployment processes and maintain reliable systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for application deployment
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues across environments
  • Support cloud infrastructure management (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Automate routine tasks using scripts and configuration management tools
  • Collaborate with development teams to improve application scalability and reliability
  • Maintain documentation for systems, processes, and deployments
  • Ensure system security and follow best practices in infrastructure management

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
  • 1–3 years of experience in DevOps, system administration, or related role
  • Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
  • Familiarity with Linux/Unix systems
  • Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git)
  • Basic scripting skills (Python, Bash, or similar)
  • Understanding of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)

Preferred Skills

  • Exposure to containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, ARM templates)
  • Understanding of monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
