Inside Technical Sales Engineer

Solar Light Company and Optronic Laboratories are leading manufacturers of scientific instrumentation used in photonics, spectroscopy, UV measurement, calibration, and optical testing. We are seeking a motivated Inside Technical Sales Engineer to help grow our North American business while providing exceptional support to our customers and sales partners.

What You'll Do

• Respond to customer inquiries, quotations, product selection, and application support requests.
• Develop new business opportunities and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
• Support distributors, manufacturers' representatives, and internal technical teams.
• Prepare proposals, quotations, and follow up through order completion.
• Manage and maintain an active sales pipeline and CRM database.
• Conduct customer presentations, product demonstrations, and occasional trade show activities.
• Achieve sales targets and support strategic growth initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Life Sciences, or related scientific field.
• 3\+ years of technical sales, inside sales, or scientific instrumentation experience preferred.
• Strong communication, customer service, and relationship-building skills.
• Experience working with capital equipment, laboratory instrumentation, optics, spectroscopy, or related technologies is a plus.
• Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
