About the Role

We are seeking a Lead GenAI Data Scientist to spearhead the development of large language

model-powered products that transform how learners and educators interact with our platform.

You will architect LLM solutions — from retrieval-augmented generation to fine-tuning — and

define our applied AI strategy in partnership with product leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and deployment of LLM-powered features (AI tutoring, content generation,

assessment tools)

• Architect RAG pipelines and semantic search solutions at production scale

• Evaluate, fine-tune and optimise foundation models for EdTech use cases

• Define prompt engineering standards and LLM evaluation frameworks

• Drive responsible AI practices — bias auditing, safety, and transparency

• Work closely with product, engineering, and curriculum teams

• Contribute to the broader GenAI roadmap and team capability building What We're Looking

For

• 8\+ years in data science / ML with at least 2-3 years in GenAI / LLM work

• Hands-on experience with OpenAI, Anthropic, Mistral or open-source LLMs

• Strong RAG architecture and vector database experience

• Fine-tuning experience (LoRA, PEFT, RLHF) is a strong plus

• Proficiency in LangChain, Llama Index or similar orchestration frameworks

• Experience deploying LLM applications in production environments

• EdTech domain knowledge or experience with personalized learning systems preferred
