Content Writer

Vedder Holsters is looking for a passionate and creative self-starter who's eager to bring their entrepreneurial energy to our marketing team as a Content Writer. As the Content Writer, you’ll be responsible for the production of all of our blog and written content. You are the ideal candidate if you are passionate about creating content that not only inspires and educates, but also leads to brand awareness, online engagement, and lead conversions. You will also thrive in a fast-paced environment, are a strategic thinker, a dynamic writer/editor, have knowledge of basic SEO practices and you have the proven ability to manage multiple projects at one time. You are detail oriented and seeing results makes you tick!

The role is based in Mount Dora, Florida and is not a remote opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Content Creation: Draft engaging, well-researched blog posts on agreed-upon topics, alongside high-converting copy for the company website, advertisements, and alternative marketing channels.
• SEO Liaison \& Reporting: Serve as the primary organizational liaison with our external SEO agency group; proactively manage the relationship by sharing internal updates, receiving external search insights, and maintaining ongoing SEO performance reporting efforts.
• Research \& Brainstorming: Source relevant blog topics to present to the marketing supervisor for review and approval, while continuously brainstorming fresh writing topics and subtopics both independently and as a collaborative group.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with creative teams to brainstorm ideas and develop multi-media concepts, ensuring all outward messaging tightly aligns with industry standards, company vision, and target audiences.
• Brand Voice \& Integrity: Stay current on established style guidelines and specific brand voices to maintain highly consistent, unified messaging across all digital touchpoints.
• Trend Monitoring: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of modern communication strategies, digital marketing trends, and industry-specific advancements.
• Flexible Support: Execute other content-related activities and peripheral marketing duties as assigned by leadership to support evolving business objectives.

Education and Experience
