Job Description
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail‑oriented
Senior Financial Analyst, FP\&A
to join our FP\&A team. The Senior Financial Analyst, FP\&A will drive core financial processes, forecasting, budgeting, and capital allocation, while also contributing to deliverables such as quarterly earnings materials and Board reporting. This person will report directly to the Director, FP\&A and have a high-level of interaction with senior management across the organization.
The ideal candidate will have exceptional financial modeling skills, and experience producing high-quality presentation materials for senior management, the Board, and external parties.
This position is located in our Uptown Dallas office, working in office Monday-Thursday and the option to work from home on Friday.
Primary Responsibilities
- Assist with recurring FP\&A processes, including:
- Annual budgeting and long‑range planning
- Quarterly and monthly P\&L forecasts
- Expense analysis, variance commentary, and KPI tracking
- Ad hoc analysis requests from senior management
- Build and maintain financial models to support strategic decision‑making.
- Support corporate capital allocation forecasting, including cash flows and scenario modeling.
- Partner with functional leaders to develop data‑driven insights.
- Automate and streamline FP\&A workflows, dashboards, and reporting packages.
- Support development of quarterly earnings materials.
- Conduct peer benchmarking (KPIs, valuation metrics, operating trends).
- Assist with preparation for investor meetings, conferences, and Board reporting.
- Track sell‑side research, market themes, and investor sentiment.
- Any additional responsibilities or special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field.
- 2-3 years of relevant experience in: Corporate finance, Financial planning \& analysis, Investment banking
and/or
Private equity
- Strong understanding of financial statements, corporate valuation, and forecasting principles.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience with financial planning tools is a plus.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to produce investor‑grade materials.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfort working with senior leadership.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
- Willingness to work extended hours.
- Ability to travel (approx. 10-15%).
