Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Video Editor located in Columbus, GA. The Video Editor will be responsible for editing video content, applying video color grading, creating motion graphics, and assisting in the overall video production process. Key tasks will include organizing raw footage, enhancing visual aesthetics, aligning projects with client goals, and incorporating graphic elements seamlessly into video projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit short-form and long-form video content
• Collaborate with the creative team on concepts, storyboarding, and content direction
• Cut, color grade, and add motion graphics, text overlays, and sound design
• Optimize videos for platform-specific performance and formatting
• Manage and organize video assets and project files
• Turn around edits quickly while maintaining high quality
• Stay up-to-date on editing trends, styles, and platform algorithms

Qualifications

• 2\+ years of video editing experience (agency or brand experience preferred)
• Proficiency in editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, etc.)
• Strong understanding of pacing, storytelling, and attention-grabbing hooks
• Knowledge and expertise in Video Color Grading to enhance visual storytelling
• Basic motion graphics and animation skills
• Strong attention to detail and a creative eye for quality visual content
• Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to take creative direction and also bring new ideas to the table
• Strong portfolio showcasing a range of video editing and motion graphic work
