Position Summary:

The Supply Chain Manager leads site-level procurement, warehouse, shipping/receiving, and logistics operations. Responsible for managing 4 buyers, optimizing inventory, ensuring on-time delivery, cost efficiency, and supplier performance. Ensures all procurement and material activities comply with domestic/international laws, FAR regulations, and company policies. Reports to the Business Unit Manager and is part of the site’s Senior Leadership Team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise day-to-day procurement, inventory, and logistics operations.
• Set and execute procurement performance, cost savings, and KPI targets.
• Manage supplier relationships, contracts, and development programs.
• Support new product introductions, sourcing, and risk mitigation.
• Drive process improvements using lean principles, SIOP, and best practices.
• Coach, mentor, and develop the procurement and supply chain team.
• Ensure compliance with government regulations and company policies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain or related field; analytical degrees preferred.
• 7–10 years procurement experience, aerospace background preferred.
• Experience in electronic material buying, lean manufacturing, and supplier programs (Kanban, consignment).
• Strong leadership, analytical, and interpersonal skills; ability to travel domestically/internationally.
