Full Job Description: Clinical Education Manager

Comfit Surgical Supplies is thrilled to announce its expansion and is seeking a dedicated Clinical Education Manager to join our team. In this vital role, you'll lead educational initiatives that shape patient care.

As the Clinical Education Manager, you will provide hands-on training and support to clinical staff in skilled nursing facilities \& Medical Providers offices. Your responsibilities will include conducting in-depth educational sessions and in-services focused on lymphedema and innovative compression solutions. You will also evaluate and fit patients for both ready-to-wear and custom compression garments, ensuring treatment. Additionally, you'll mentor our compression fitters to ensure they provide optimal care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Educator and Supporter: Empower clinical staff in lymphedema management and compression therapy techniques.
  • Facilitator of Learning: Conduct engaging in-services and educational sessions in partner facilities, sharing best practices and advancements in compression therapy.
  • Patient Evaluator: Assess, measure, and fit patients for appropriate compression garments for comfort and effectiveness.
  • Educator to Patients and Clinicians: Guide patients and clinicians on the proper usage and maintenance of compression products.
  • Team Leader: Train and manage a team of compression fitters, fostering collaboration and focus on high-quality patient interactions.
  • Relationship Builder: Maintain trusting relationships with clinical teams to facilitate communication and collaborative care.
  • Documentation Coordinator: Communicate with clinicians to gather necessary documentation and ensure compliance with care protocols.
  • Territory Traveler: Travel within your designated territory to balance education, clinical support, and business growth.
  • Performance Reporter: Submit detailed monthly updates on clinical education initiatives and territory performance metrics.

Education and Experience Required:

  • Experience in clinical education or training, with success in fostering learning environments.
  • Familiarity with compression therapy principles and garment fitting processes is highly desirable.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for effective engagement and education of clinical teams.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, focused on achieving positive patient outcomes.
  • Passionate about enhancing patient health and quality of life.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and adaptable to new technologies.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Willingness to travel across NY.
