Scrum Master

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to guide agile teams in implementing Scrum practices, facilitating ceremonies, and driving continuous improvement for successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate Scrum events including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Coach teams on Agile principles, Scrum framework, and self-organization to maximize productivity.
• Remove impediments, resolve blockers, and protect the team from external distractions.
• Support product owners with backlog refinement, prioritization, and stakeholder collaboration.
• Track sprint progress, metrics, and team performance using tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Promote continuous improvement through retrospectives and process optimizations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field; Scrum certification (e.g., CSM, PSM).
• 2\+ years as Scrum Master or in agile environments; experience with software development teams.
• Proficiency in agile tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence) and knowledge of SDLC.
• Strong facilitation, coaching, and communication skills.

Preferred Attributes

• Experience scaling agile (e.g., SAFe, LeSS) or in hybrid methodologies (Scrum-Kanban).
• Servant-leadership style with problem-solving and conflict resolution expertise.
