Job Description :
10\+ years of overall experience in Data Warehousing, Data Engineering, and Cloud Data Platforms. Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake architecture, design, implementation, and optimisation.
- Proven expertise in designing enterprise-scale data platforms, data lakes, and modern data warehouse solutions.
- Deep understanding of Snowflake features including Snowpipe, Streams, Tasks, Dynamic Tables, Time Travel, Zero-Copy Cloning, Data Sharing, RBAC, and performance tuning.
- Experience in data modelling, including dimensional modelling, star and snowflake schemas, and data vault concepts.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP and integration with Snowflake.
- Experience with ETL/ELT frameworks, DBT, Python, SQL, and orchestration tools.
- Ability to define architecture standards, patterns, best practices, and governance frameworks.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage with business and technical teams.
- Comfortable leading architecture discussions, presenting solution designs, conducting design reviews, and influencing technical decisions.
- Experience creating architecture documents, solution blueprints, and executive-level presentations.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and consulting skills.
- Prior experience in Banking, Insurance, or Financial Services domains is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and own end-to-end Snowflake architecture and solution strategy.
- Define architecture patterns, frameworks, and best practices for enterprise data platforms.
- Lead solution design workshops with business and technology stakeholders.
- Present architecture designs and recommendations to customers, architects, and leadership teams.
- Provide technical leadership to delivery teams and ensure adherence to architectural standards.
- Drive performance optimisation, security, scalability, and cost-efficiency initiatives.
- Collaborate with enterprise architects, data engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver modern data solutions.
- Support pre-sales, solutioning, and proposal activities where required.
