Job Description
Our client, a wholesale consumer goods company is seeking a Sales Manager to join their team in NYC!
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain relationships with key retail partners and customers.
- Identify new sales opportunities and contribute to expanding wholesale partnerships.
- Oversee the sales process from initial presentations through order execution and follow-up.
- Partner with internal teams to support product launches, assortments, forecasting, and overall business needs.
- Develop and implement sales strategies.
- Monitor market trends, customer feedback, and sales performance.
- Prepare sales updates, forecasts, and reports for leadership review.
- Represent the company at customer meetings, trade shows, and industry events.
- Ensure customer expectations, business goals, and operational requirements are met.
Qualifications \& Experience
- 5\+ years experience.
- Experience managing retail accounts and building strong customer relationships.
- Strong understanding of sales strategy, negotiation, and account management.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with sales tools or CRM systems is a plus.
- Ability to travel as needed.
Full Time On Site
Salary: $80k-$150k base, potential for commission
