Position Summary
The People Success / HR Manager is responsible for building, sustaining, and scaling a positive, inclusive, and high-performing workplace culture. This role blends traditional human resources responsibilities with a strong focus on employee experience, training, engagement, and organizational health. The People Success / HR Manager serves as a trusted partner to leadership and employees, ensuring that people practices align with company values, operational needs, and long-term business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Champion company culture and values, ensuring they are reflected in daily practices and employee interactions.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations, coaching leaders and employees through workplace concerns.
- Oversee full-cycle HR operations including recruiting, onboarding, offboarding, performance management, and policy administration.
- Design and implement employee engagement, recognition, and retention initiatives.
- Partner with leadership on workforce planning, succession planning, and organizational development.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Manage recruitment and hiring processes, ensuring a consistent and values-aligned candidate experience.
- Oversee benefits administration, compensation programs, and employee wellness initiatives.
- Develop and maintain HR policies, handbooks, and internal communications.
- Support managers with performance coaching, conflict resolution, and leadership development.
Culture \& Employee Experience
- Act as a steward of company culture, fostering trust, accountability, and collaboration.
- Lead initiatives that promote employee engagement, morale, and belonging.
- Gather and analyze employee feedback to drive continuous improvement.
- Support change management efforts and organizational growth initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5\+ years of progressive HR or people operations experience.
- Strong knowledge of employment law, HR best practices, and compliance requirements.
- Demonstrated experience building positive workplace culture and employee engagement programs.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to balance empathy with sound judgment and business needs.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in manufacturing, food production, or multi-site operations.
- HR certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR).
- Experience supporting both hourly and salaried workforces.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
