Job Description

About Us \& The Opportunity

We are a rapidly growing B2B SaaS company at the $10M ARR mark. We have built a great product, but we are officially declaring an end to subjective prioritization in favor of data-driven roadmapping. We do not measure product success by how many features we ship; we measure it by the

Hard ROI

our product delivers to our customers (e.g., increased leases, higher conversion rates, and measurable revenue gain).

We are operating with a deliberately lean team. To scale our output without scaling headcount, we are heavily leaning into AI workflows. We are looking for a Commercial VP of Product to lead this transformation, act as a shield for the engineering team, leverage Gemini AI as a force multiplier, and hire a Lead UX Designer and Product Marketing Manager to relentlessly prove tangible financial value to our buyers.

What You Will Do (Your Key Responsibilities)

  • End the Feature Factory \& Own the Roadmap:

Take immediate ownership of our product roadmap across all product lines. Establish a rigid, rolling roadmap that the executive team can trust, ending the era of the "loudest screamer" dictating our sprints.

  • Mandate "Proof of Hard ROI" (Redefining Done):

Shift the company mindset from "Soft ROI" (time saved) to "Hard ROI" (pipeline generated, leases signed). No new feature is allowed to ship unless the reporting/dashboard that proves this exact financial value to the

Economic Buyer

is built alongside it.

  • Monetization \& Pricing Strategy:

As you build features that deliver Hard ROI, you will partner directly with the CRO to align our pricing and packaging strategy to ensure we are successfully capturing the massive value we are creating for our customers.

  • Drive GTM Enablement:

Building the feature is only half the battle. You will partner with Marketing and Sales to ensure our Go-To-Market teams are armed with the exact messaging and training needed to sell and support the Hard ROI of every release.

  • Implement Objective Prioritization:

Build and enforce a weighted prioritization framework scoring based on commercial impact, churn risk, and engineering effort.

  • Act as the Commercial Gatekeeper:

Establish a "Zero Unresearched Asks" policy. Before a single feature or 3rd-party integration request is brought to the CTO, independently validate its market size, ICP alignment, and commercial ROI.

  • Build \& Lead the Product Triad (Product, UX, Tech):

Your first major organizational mandate is to define, interview, and hire our first

Lead UX Product Designer

. Once hired, you will lead this Triad: You own the "What and Why" (commercials); UX owns the "Flow and Usability" (Time-to-Value); Tech owns the "How and When" (architecture).

  • Design AI-Powered Workflows:

You will not need to code complex APIs, but you must be a power-user of Gemini AI. You will design internal workflows to synthesize Voice of Customer (VoC) data, write pristine engineering-ready PRDs, and accelerate daily product operations.

  • Implement the Data Stack \& Audit the Product:

Deploy behavioral analytics (Amplitude/Mixpanel) and finalize our

Product Fruits

integration. Ruthlessly triage the existing product to sunset "Graveyard" features and promote "Hidden Gems."

The VP of Product Scorecard (How We Measure Your Success)

  1. Value Realization (Hard ROI):

Successfully deploying dashboards/reporting that prove tangible financial outcomes to the Economic Buyer for all core modules.

  1. Roadmap Integrity:

Delivering on the published roadmap with documented, data-driven justification for any mid-sprint scope changes.

  1. Product-Driven NRR:

Tying shipped features and pricing packaging directly to retained revenue and account expansions.

  1. Time-to-Value (TTV):

Working with your future Lead UX Designer to radically reduce the time it takes a new user to achieve their first measurable outcome.

  1. NPS Loop Closure \& Sentiment:

Establishing the Product Fruits NPS baseline for the "Economic Buyer" segment, improving it quarter-over-quarter, and maintaining a 100% "closed-loop" rate for product-related detractors.

Here's What You Need To Know About This Role:

  • Competitive base salary between $175,000 to $225,000 CAD with performance-based bonuses
  • Comprehensive benefits package
  • Full-time, salaried position
  • Flexible and remote work environment
  • Generous paid vacation time
  • Employee stock options

We are committed to creating an inclusive and accessible workplace. If you require accommodation during any stage of the recruitment process, please let us know and we will work with you to meet your needs in accordance with applicable laws.
