An energy technology company developing next-generation power systems for grid and industrial applications. The engineering team is lean and highly technical.
The Role
A hands-on embedded engineering position working on firmware and control software for power electronics hardware. You will contribute to systems that manage real energy at scale, alongside engineers who care deeply about reliability and correctness.
What You Will Work On
- Firmware development for power conversion and energy management systems
- Real-time control loops and hardware bring-up on custom platforms
- Communication protocols including Modbus, CANopen, and SPI
- Safety-critical software development with an emphasis on reliability
- Debugging complex interactions between software, firmware, and power hardware
What We Are Looking For
- 3\+ years of embedded software experience
- Strong C/C\+\+
- Some exposure to power electronics, battery systems, or energy management is advantageous
- Experience with real-time or bare-metal environments
- Methodical approach to debugging and a high bar for code quality
