Job Title: Outsystems Architect - Remote / Telecommute

Job Location: Portland, OR

Job Type: Contract

Job Overview:

• Lead the design and implementation of enterprise-grade applications using the OutSystems platform.
• Define technical architecture and ensure scalable, high-performance solutions aligned with business objectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Establish best practices, standards, and governance for development, security, and performance.
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement within the low-code development ecosystem.

Requirement/Must Have:

• Minimum 8 years of software development experience.
• At least 3 years of experience as an OutSystems Architect or similar leadership role.
• Strong expertise in OutSystems platform development and architecture.
• Experience designing and delivering enterprise-level applications.
• Strong experience with system integrations using APIs, web services, and databases.
• Solid understanding of web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and version control tools.
• Strong leadership, communication, and mentoring skills.

Responsibilities:

• Design and lead implementation of OutSystems-based solutions.
• Define and maintain technical architecture and strategy.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align technical solutions with business goals.
• Establish and enforce development standards and best practices.
• Oversee integrations with external systems and services.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to development teams.
• Ensure quality through code reviews and testing strategies.
• Monitor and optimize application performance.
• Maintain technical documentation and architecture artifacts.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and drive innovation.

Should Have:

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
• Experience working in fast-paced environments with multiple projects.
• Additional OutSystems or related certifications.

Skills:

• OutSystems architecture and development.
• System integration and API management.
• Technical leadership and mentoring.
• Performance optimization and troubleshooting.
• Documentation and solution design.

Qualification And Education:

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field required.
• OutSystems Associate Reactive Developer certification required.
• OutSystems Architecture Specialist certification required.
• Additional certifications preferred.
