A leading investment firm is seeking a Product Manager to take ownership of a business-critical internal technology platform used by engineers, researchers, analysts, and investment professionals across the organisation.

This platform sits at the heart of the firm's development ecosystem, supporting areas such as developer tooling, cloud infrastructure, deployment frameworks, authentication, data connectivity, application lifecycle management, and platform services.

As the dedicated Product Manager, you will be responsible for defining product strategy, prioritising initiatives, managing stakeholder relationships, and driving execution across multiple engineering workstreams. This is a highly visible role requiring close collaboration with engineering leadership, infrastructure teams, compliance, operations, and front-office users.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the product vision, roadmap, and prioritisation of platform initiatives.
• Gather requirements from internal users and translate them into actionable user stories and technical specifications.
• Manage and maintain a JIRA backlog, ensuring delivery teams have clearly defined and prioritised work.
• Partner with engineering teams throughout the full product lifecycle, from discovery through implementation.
• Drive stakeholder engagement across technology, operations, compliance, and investment teams.
• Create documentation, onboarding materials, and user enablement resources to support platform adoption.
• Monitor platform usage, collect feedback, and continuously improve the user experience.

Ideal Background

• 3–6 years of Product Management experience within a sophisticated technology environment.
• Proven experience owning enterprise-scale platforms, developer tools, infrastructure products, cloud services, AI platforms, or internal technology ecosystems that support hundreds or thousands of users.
• Experience working in highly technical organisations such as hedge funds, quantitative trading firms, asset managers, fintechs, AI companies, cloud providers, enterprise software firms, or leading technology businesses.
• Demonstrated ability to partner closely with engineering teams and influence product direction across complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
• Strong understanding of software development, cloud infrastructure, APIs, developer workflows, CI/CD, platform engineering, and modern application architectures.
• Experience translating business objectives into product strategy, detailed requirements, and measurable delivery outcomes.
• Exposure to AI/ML platforms, developer productivity tooling, or large-scale internal technology ecosystems is highly desirable.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage credibly with engineers, business leaders, and senior executives.
• Prior experience operating in fast-paced, performance-driven environments where reliability, scalability, governance, and user adoption are critical to business success.
