We are seeking a highly organized, technically skilled, and detail-oriented
Release Engineer
to join our growing engineering and DevOps team. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about software delivery, release automation, CI/CD, deployment processes, and ensuring reliable and efficient software releases across development, testing, and production environments.

Key Responsibilities
• Plan, coordinate, and manage software releases across development, staging, and production environments.
• Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for automated software delivery.
• Coordinate release schedules, deployment activities, version control, and release documentation.
• Automate build, testing, packaging, deployment, and release processes.
• Manage source code branches, tags, versioning, and release configurations.
• Monitor deployment processes and troubleshoot build, integration, and release failures.
• Collaborate with Software Developers, QA Engineers, DevOps Engineers, Product Managers, and IT Operations teams.
• Ensure software releases meet quality, security, performance, and operational requirements.
• Support rollback, recovery, and deployment strategies to minimize production downtime.
• Maintain release environments, deployment scripts, configuration files, and automation tools.
• Implement release management best practices and improve deployment efficiency.
• Monitor application deployments and investigate post-release issues.
• Maintain accurate release notes, deployment records, change logs, and technical documentation.
• Support infrastructure and application changes across cloud and on-premises environments.
• Identify opportunities to improve release reliability, automation, scalability, and delivery speed.
✅ Requirements
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, DevOps, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience in release engineering, DevOps, software development, system administration, or CI/CD is an advantage.
• Fresh graduates with relevant projects, internships, or technical experience are encouraged to apply.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and release management processes.
• Experience with Git, GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, or similar version control platforms.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, or similar technologies.
• Basic programming or scripting skills in Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar languages.
• Understanding of build tools, deployment automation, configuration management, and environment management.
• Familiarity with Docker and containerized application deployment is an advantage.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud is preferred.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, Terraform, or Infrastructure as Code is a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple releases and deadlines.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
