JOB DESCRIPTION

Insight Global is looking to hire a Consulting Project Manager – Transformation for one of their top healthcare clients in Boston, MA. This person must be local and commit to a hybrid working model.

Role Overview

  • Lead large-scale, Institute-wide transformation initiatives
  • Manage multiple highly complex, ambiguous projects simultaneously
  • Identify value-creation opportunities and implement plans to realize impact

Hypothesis-Driven Planning \& Analysis

  • Apply a structured, hypothesis-driven approach to problem-solving using analytics, frameworks, and strategic tools
  • Conduct analysis, research, and forecasting to support complex negotiations and strategic decisions
  • Develop and implement systems to organize, track, and analyze data
  • Build business cases for strategic programs and initiatives
  • Lead ad hoc research and due diligence for new initiatives; translate insights into actionable project plans
  • Present clear recommendations and options to enable executive decision-making

Transformation Delivery \& Execution

  • Develop project roadmaps and detailed workplans aligned to vision and goals
  • Execute, track, and report on project milestones, progress, risks, and issues
  • Proactively identify, escalate, and mitigate risks and dependencies
  • Manage PMO functions including:
  • Program and portfolio management
  • Tools, methodologies, and roadmap development
  • Risk mitigation and interdependency management
  • Resource and financial management
  • Governance, reporting, and strategic communications
  • Change management and impact tracking
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to align transformation goals across departments
  • Collaborate with anticipated new clinical partners on planning and integration
  • Assess business and financial impacts of initiatives, including implementation dependencies, risks, and prioritization inputs
  • Conduct impact and readiness assessments; apply structured change management processes to support adoption
  • Support the design, delivery, and management of project and change-related communications

Stakeholder Management \& Executive Engagement

  • Collaborate across all organizational levels, including senior and executive leadership (up to C-suite)
  • Build and maintain stakeholder alignment on goals, risks, recommendations, and implementation plans
  • Secure stakeholder commitment and support for recommendations
  • Maintain ongoing communication and status updates with key stakeholders

Consulting Infrastructure \& Best Practices

  • Develop and refine scalable consulting frameworks and approaches reusable across initiatives
  • Establish project infrastructure including workplans, timelines, milestones, KPIs, and resourcing models
  • Anticipate and resolve risks impacting project outcomes, timelines, or scope
  • Create executive-ready work products aligned with consulting best practices
  • Continuously improve strategy development, consulting, and business planning tools

People Leadership \& Team Development

  • Collaborate with departmental and organizational peers to drive performance through purpose, direction, and motivation
  • Lead and support small project teams as needed
  • Contribute to staff development, internal process improvement, and consulting best practices
  • Model and reinforce strong attention to detail and high-quality deliverables

Required Skills \& Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 5\+ years of professional work experience, including at least 3 years in:
  • Strategic planning
  • Business planning
  • Management consulting
  • Proven experience managing multiple enterprise-wide, highly complex initiatives simultaneously
  • Strong understanding of large-scale transformation, strategic planning, and consulting methodologies
  • Experience working within the healthcare environment

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Qualifications

  • Master’s degree strongly preferred

Compensation

$70/hr to $80/hr

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
