Role And Responsibilities
As a GPU Software Program Manager, you will drive program management execution for Samsung’s GPU Software development programs, enabling software readiness across pre-silicon development, post-silicon performance, platform maintenance, and next-generation graphics and compute architecture Your work will support delivery across key software domains, including architecture, performance, compiler, system software, graphics drivers, compute, advanced rendering, tools, validation, and software QA.
In this high-impact individual contributor role, you will partner closely with GPU software leaders, architecture, hardware, validation, platform engineering, global teams, and ecosystem partners to improve execution visibility, manage dependencies, develop and maintain integrated project plans, and support delivery of complex software programs. You will help strengthen operational discipline across software development cycles supporting emerging technology initiatives spanning advanced graphics APIs, ML/AI workloads, GPU profiling and debugging tools, game engine collaboration, developer tools, and GPU/NPU integration across Samsung’s software ecosystem.
- You drive program management execution for GPU software deliverables, including schedule planning, milestone tracking, resource planning, dependency management, risk mitigation, and delivery alignment across multiple software domains.
- You coordinate and enable cross-functional execution across software architecture, performance, compiler, system software, Vulkan driver, compute, ANGLE, advanced rendering, tools, validation, and software QA teams, managing multiple concurrent programs and ensuring alignment to project plans and key milestones.
- You support program health reporting and leadership communications by tracking progress, risks, blockers, mitigation plans, and delivery predictability with Jira/Confluence tracking, dashboards, documentation, and execution workflows across pre-silicon, post-silicon, and sustaining programs.
- You strengthen collaboration with hardware, architecture, validation, platform engineering, global teams, and Android ecosystem partners to align software readiness with development milestones, technical priorities, and ecosystem requirements, facilitating cross-functional discussions and influencing alignment across engineering organizations.
- You drive continuous improvement of program management processes, metrics, documentation, and execution frameworks, championing best practices that improve visibility, predictability, and operational efficiency across software development programs.
Skills And Qualifications
- 11\+ years of experience with a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field, or 9\+ years with a Master’s Degree, or 7\+ years with a Ph.D.
- 7\+ years of experience in technical program or project management for software, GPU, graphics, platform, mobile, embedded, AI/ML, or complex system development programs
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycles, including architecture, development, validation, QA, release readiness, performance optimization, and maintenance
- Experience managing program execution across complex software domains such as graphics drivers, compilers, system software, compute, developer tools, performance, validation, or platform engineering
- Proven experience driving schedule planning, resource planning, dependency management, risk mitigation, stakeholder alignment, program reporting, and continuous improvement of project management processes, metrics, and execution frameworks across complex technical organizations.
- Strong proficiency with Jira, Confluence, defect tracking systems, project schedule/resource management tools, advanced Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience with Waterfall and Agile project management methodologies, source control systems such as Git or Perforce, and engineering development workflows
- Demonstrated ability to identify program risks, resolve cross-functional issues and conflicts, develop mitigation strategies, and communicate execution status to technical and executive stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, ownership, and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with demonstrated ability to engage senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders, and drive alignment through ambiguity in a fast-paced global environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting GPU software, graphics drivers, Android platform, Vulkan, ANGLE, compute, compiler, or advanced rendering programs
- Experience working with global software teams and external ecosystem partners, including Android, game engine, developer tools, or industry community partners
- Experience supporting pre-silicon software development, post-silicon performance, platform maintenance, or product commercialization programs
- Familiarity with GPU/NPU integration, ML/AI use cases, profiling/debugging tools, or mobile graphics performance workflows
Total Rewards
At Samsung – SARC/ACL, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $180,200 and $297,200\. Your actual base pay will depend on variables that may include your education skills, qualifications, experience, and work location.

In addition, regular full-time employees (salaried or hourly) are eligible for MBO bonus compensation, based on company, division, and individual performance.
Additionally, this role might be eligible to participate in long term incentive plan and relocation.
This is an exempt position, which is not eligible for overtime pay under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
