Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled

SDET - Airborne

to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of mission-critical airborne software systems. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in

test automation, API/UI testing, and Linux-based environments

, along with experience working in

Agile and BDD frameworks

.

You will play a key role in building scalable test frameworks, validating complex systems, and collaborating closely with development and product teams to deliver high-quality airborne software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute

comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test strategies

• Perform

API testing, UI testing, and Linux-based system testing

• Develop and maintain

robust test automation frameworks

• Work within

Agile and BDD (Behavior-Driven Development) methodologies

• Identify, log, track, and manage

defects

through resolution

• Generate

test reports, dashboards, and quality metrics

• Collaborate with

developers, product managers, and stakeholders

for quality assurance

• Ensure adherence to

aviation/airborne software standards and best practices

• Continuously improve

test processes, coverage, and automation efficiency

Required Skills \& Qualifications

• Strong experience in

manual and automation testing

• Hands-on experience with

API testing tools (Postman, Rest Assured, etc.)

• Proficiency in

Linux/Unix environments and command-line tools

• Experience with

UI automation tools (Selenium or similar)

• Knowledge of

BDD frameworks (Cucumber, SpecFlow, Behave, etc.)

• Strong understanding of

test automation frameworks and scripting

• Experience working in

Agile/Scrum environments

• Familiarity with

defect tracking tools (JIRA, Bugzilla, etc.)

• Basic programming knowledge in

Java/Python

Preferred Skills

• Experience in

aviation/airborne or embedded systems testing

• Knowledge of

DO-178C or similar aviation standards

• Experience with

CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.)

• Exposure to

performance and security testing

• Experience with

containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
