CREATIVE DIRECTOR – DIGITAL, VIDEO \& EXPERIENCE DESIGN
About the Role
We are looking for Creative Directors with deep expertise in Digital, Video, and Experience Design to lead creative excellence across global accounts.
This role goes beyond creative supervision — it combines creative vision, systemized design thinking, and scalable production intelligence. You will be responsible for shaping high-quality, brand-consistent, and experience-led outputs across digital ecosystems, while ensuring that creativity is operationally viable, scalable, and future-ready.
Operating within a Global Capability Center model, you will act as the creative anchor between regional stakeholders and production teams, elevating the perception of India from execution hub to strategic creative partner.
Key Responsibilities
1\. Creative Leadership \& Vision
- Define and drive creative direction across digital, motion, and experience design outputs.
- Translate brand strategy and campaign intent into compelling, platform-native creative systems.
- Establish creative benchmarks, design standards, and storytelling frameworks across accounts.
- Ensure all outputs meet global brand consistency, craft excellence, and contextual relevance.
2\. Experience Design \& Digital Thinking
- Lead experience-first design thinking across platforms — web, mobile, social, and interactive ecosystems.
- Drive UI/UX, interaction design, and journey orchestration aligned to user behavior and business objectives.
- Ensure creative solutions are modular, scalable, and adaptable across markets and formats.
- Champion omnichannel storytelling, ensuring continuity across touchpoints.
3\. Video \& Motion Excellence
- Oversee creative direction for video, motion graphics, animation, and content versioning.
- Guide teams on narrative structure, visual storytelling, pacing, and platform optimization.
- Ensure motion outputs are efficiently adaptable for multi-market deployment and personalization.
- Align motion design with emerging formats (short-form, social-first, dynamic content).
4\. Creative Production Integration
- Collaborate closely with Account Managers, Studio Leads, and Operations teams to align creativity with delivery feasibility.
- Embed production-aware creativity — balancing ambition with scalability, timelines, and cost efficiency.
- Drive creative frameworks that reduce rework, improve first-time-right quality, and enhance throughput.
- Ensure adherence to workflow platforms and structured creative processes.
5\. Quality, Craft \& Governance
- Act as the final creative authority on key deliverables and high-impact campaigns.
- Establish and enforce quality control standards across digital, motion, and experience outputs.
- Mentor teams to improve design thinking, typography, motion craft, and storytelling quality.
- Reduce subjectivity by introducing structured creative evaluation frameworks.
6\. Innovation, Automation \& AI Enablement
- Partner with automation and tech teams to integrate AI into creative workflows (versioning, layout systems, motion automation).
- Identify opportunities for template-driven design systems and scalable creative frameworks.
- Balance creative integrity with automation efficiency, ensuring output quality is not compromised.
- Contribute to building a future-ready creative ecosystem (AI-assisted production).
7\. Stakeholder Collaboration \& Influence
- Partner with regional creative leads, account teams, and clients to align on creative expectations and standards.
- Present and articulate creative rationale, concepts, and design systems to global stakeholders.
- Influence upstream decisions by providing creative consultation during briefing and planning stages.
Required Skills \& Experience
- 12–18 years of experience in creative leadership roles within digital agencies, production environments, or integrated networks.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise across:
- Digital design (UI/UX, web, campaigns)
- Video \& motion (Post production, animation, storytelling)
- Experience design (journeys, interaction, omnichannel systems)
- Deep understanding of creative production workflows, adaptation models, and global rollout systems.
- Proficiency with tools: Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, After Effects, Premiere, and emerging AI tools.
- Strong ability to bridge creativity with scalability and operational constraints.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills — able to influence senior stakeholders globally.
Location
We currently work in a remote hybrid model with offices in Chennai and Bangalore.
Timings
We work on rotational shifts that change depending on the region you are working with and at the discretion of your line manager.
