Work model:

hybrid from Gdańsk / Gdynia / Łódź / Warszawa (2-3 days per week from the office)

Project

You will be involved in a financial sector project focused on the operation, maintenance, and modernization of

Oracle database environments

supporting business-critical applications. The role covers the full lifecycle of Oracle database administration across development, pre-production, disaster recovery, and production environments, including implementation of new database features, high availability solutions, troubleshooting, validation, and post-deployment support. You will work closely with infrastructure, application, and operations teams to deliver reliable database services while adhering to established operational procedures and governance standards.

Responsibilities You'll Have

  • Administer and support Oracle Database environments across pre-production, DR, and production
  • Manage Oracle RAC, Data Guard, and Fast-Start Failover (FSFO) configurations
  • Perform database patching, upgrades, and production deployments
  • Execute and validate switchover, failover, and disaster recovery tests
  • Troubleshoot database, RAC, Data Guard, and availability-related issues
  • Support Oracle GoldenGate and Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) environments
  • Participate in incident, problem, and change management processes

Expected competences and knowledge

  • 10\+ years of hands-on experience administering Oracle Database 12c–19c
  • Strong practical experience with Oracle RAC (ASM) in production environments
  • Strong experience with Oracle Data Guard and disaster recovery solutions
  • Experience with Linux administration in enterprise environments
  • Experience with Oracle database provisioning, migrations, and service management
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of Oracle architecture and database design principles
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken
