Role Overview

We are seeking two Senior Business Analysts to serve as the functional experts for our External Data Acquisition project. You will bridge the gap between complex clinical data standards (CommonWell/FHIR/CDA) and actionable technical requirements. Your primary focus is to lead data discovery and ensure that clinical intent is accurately captured in our mapping and normalization strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Discovery: Lead the effort to interpret and decompose FHIR resources and CDA document structures from external sources.
• Requirements Gathering: Define and document business-aligned data requirements for use-case-specific "serve views" in GCP.
• Mapping \& Translation: Create detailed source-to-target mappings, translating nested clinical data into flattened, accessible formats.
• Domain Leadership: Provide subject matter expertise on FHIR/CDA structures to internal Ascension technology resources.

Qualifications

• Deep domain knowledge of FHIR and CDA standards.
• Proven experience in healthcare data mapping and clinical data modeling.
• Strong ability to translate complex technical specs into business-friendly interpretations.

Education

• Bachelors or Masters in Information Technology, Computer Science or relevant field.
