IT Sourcing Manager – Indirect Procurement

Summary

Our client is seeking an Indirect Procurement IT Portfolio Sourcing Manager to serve as a strategic procurement leader managing a portfolio of related spend categories. This role will develop and execute multi-year category strategies that secure the best value, quality, and service while delivering measurable cost optimization, reducing risk, and aligning sourcing outcomes to business goals. This Sourcing Manager will act as the bridge between suppliers and internal teams, driving efficiency and innovation through analysis, negotiation, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement global/divisional sourcing strategies and portfolio roadmaps for IT spend portfolios.
• Identify, select, negotiate with, and manage relationships with key suppliers including QBRs and improvement initiatives.
• Perform cost analysis, TCO/should-cost modeling, benchmarking, and deliver year-over-year savings.
• Lead end-to-end RFx events, negotiations, and contracting (NDA, MSA, SOW, DPA, CO).
• Partner with Operations, Legal, Finance, Information Security, and Business stakeholders to align sourcing decisions.

Requirements

• Demonstrated expertise in RFx management, complex contract negotiation, and TCO analysis.
• Proven success in supplier performance management.
• Proficiency with eSourcing, Contract lifecycle, and P2P platforms.
• Strong Excel/analytics skills and financial acumen.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, and change leadership skills.

Preferred

• Risk management mindset with experience implementing mitigation strategies across a supply base.
• Industry experience in IT procurement.
• Demonstrated ability to influence multiple levels of cross-functional teams.
• Experience with supplier-enabled innovation and sustainability goals.

This is a 6-Month Contract-to-Hire opportunity with our Overland Park, KS client.
