- Facilitate conflict resolution between business and IT teams, escalating where appropriate and ensuring alignment on priorities.
Scope, Risk \& Issue Management
- Define and enforce project scope; manage change requests through a formal change control process to prevent scope creep.
- Maintain a comprehensive risk register; proactively identify, assess, and develop mitigation strategies for project risks.
- Manage project issues log, assign ownership, track resolution timelines, and escalate critical blockers to sponsors as needed.
- Conduct lessons-learned sessions at project milestones and drive continuous improvement across delivery practices.
Budget \& Resource Management
- Develop and manage project budgets, including capital expenditure (CAPEX) and operational expenditure (OPEX) tracking throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor actual spend against forecasts; provide accurate financial reporting to IT Finance and project sponsors.
- Plan, allocate, and manage project resources including internal staff, SAP consultants, and third-party vendors.
- Oversee vendor contracts, deliverables, and SLAs in collaboration with procurement and legal teams.
Quality \& Testing Oversight
- Ensure adherence to project quality standards, SAP best practices, and organizational IT governance frameworks.
- Oversee and coordinate all testing phases, including System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Performance Testing.
- Review and approve key project deliverables, including BBPs, functional specifications, test plans, training plans, cutover plans, and go-live readiness assessments.
- Drive cutover planning and execution, coordinating technical and functional teams to ensure a seamless go-live transition.
Change Management \& Training
- Lead organizational change management activities in partnership with HR and business change leads to drive user adoption.
- Oversee development and delivery of end-user training programs, ensuring all impacted user groups are adequately prepared ahead of go-live.
- Champion communication plans and change impact assessments to prepare the organization for process and system changes.
Post-Go-Live \& Continuous Improvement
- Manage hypercare period post go-live, ensuring adequate support coverage and rapid resolution of production issues.
