Job Description
Seeking an experienced
Human Resources Manager
to lead HR operations at a key industrial site in
Missouri
. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on driving people strategy, supporting site leadership, and ensuring effective HR delivery across employee relations, labor relations, and talent development.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with site leadership to deliver HR strategies aligned with business objectives
- Lead all aspects of employee relations, labor relations, and workforce planning
- Act as the primary HR contact for all people-related matters on site
- Represent management in labor relations meetings and support collective bargaining negotiations
- Conduct investigations, document findings, and implement appropriate actions
- Develop and deliver training programs on leadership, communication, and HR compliance
- Oversee performance management processes, including evaluations and merit increases
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and workforce development initiatives
- Manage HR budget, track expenditures, and identify cost efficiencies
- Develop and update HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks
- Coordinate with external vendors, training providers, and community stakeholders
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across HR processes
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Management, Industrial Relations, or related field
- 8\+ years of progressive HR experience, including leadership responsibility
- Strong experience in employee relations and labor relations (union environment preferred)
- Experience supporting collective bargaining agreements and contract negotiations
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- HR certification (SHRM or HRCI) preferred
