Director, Corporate Restructuring

Earning Potential: Base salary plus monthly billable-hours bonuses, creating a clear path to $200K annual compensation for high performers.

• Lead case teams on specific client engagements, including directing and coordinating all case team work product and acting as lead contact to the client, clients’ counsel and their other professionals.
• Oversee all case aspects, including case filing preparation, noticing, creditor data matrix, service lists, SOFA/Schedule preparation and solicitation mailings.
• Review case team work product, including by junior and senior case consultants.
• Data gathering and management of databases, including initial creditor matrix.
• Maintain service lists of creditors and special parties, including preparation of first days service matrix.
• Prepare and conduct solicitation mailings. Coordinate ballot processing/review, voting tabulation and prepare accompanying voting certification.
• Prepare Schedules of Assets and Liabilities and Statement of Financial Affairs.
• Coordinate large scale and/or complex mailings including preparation of affidavits of service.
• Perform review and reconciliation of Proofs of Claim. Prepare and reformat various claims reports.
• Manage and update Verita public access websites with respect to important dates, documents and per client requests.
• Review contracts and coordinate preparation of contract review databases.
• Other duties or tasks as assigned by management. May be asked to work and stay after regular work hours.

• A four year college degree, preferably in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Business Management. A JD, paralegal or legal experience is preferred.
• Five to eight years consulting or professional client services in the corporate bankruptcy industry, including, but not limited to, financial restructuring and claims and noticing.
