Assistant Manager – Performance Marketing (Meta)
Location: Mumbai
Experience: 3-7 years in Performance Marketing

Role Overview
We are looking for a performance marketer to support and scale Meta performance marketing for Tata CLiQ. This role is deeply execution-focused and highly operational, requiring strong hands-on campaign management and extensive coordination across multiple internal and external teams on a daily basis.
The ideal candidate is process-driven, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple moving parts across platforms, creatives, partners, and reporting frameworks while driving revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
Meta Performance Marketing (Core)
- Support and execute the Meta performance marketing strategy for Tata CLiQ with a strong focus on day-to-day optimization.
- Plan, launch, monitor, and optimize paid social campaigns across Meta platforms at scale.
- Ensure efficient budget utilization through daily pacing, bid adjustments, and performance monitoring.
- Track and improve key performance metrics including ROAS, CVR, CAC, GMV, and NMV.
Video \& YouTube Affiliate Program Execution
- Manage the operational execution of Video and YouTube Affiliate programs in coordination with affiliate partners and internal teams.
- Own end-to-end campaign setup including deal mapping, tracking links, SKU enablement, and offer alignment.
- Coordinate with content creators, affiliate platforms, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely campaign launches.
- Monitor performance at a creator and content level to derive actionable insights and optimization levers.
- Ensure accurate attribution, reporting hygiene, and payout reconciliations for affiliate-led campaigns.
Additional Performance Channels (PayU, etc)
- Support scaling and optimization of additional performance-led channels such as PayU Expand and similar commerce media solutions.
- Work closely with channel partners to manage integrations, campaign setups, budgets, and performance reporting.
- Identify opportunities for incremental growth through experimentation with new formats and placements.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Work very closely with Creative, Category, CRM, Brand, Growth, Tech, and Analytics teams to drive execution.
- Drive creative coordination by sharing briefs, performance feedback, and testing requirements.
- Align category priorities, pricing updates, and offer changes into live campaigns in real time.
- Coordinate with analytics teams for performance dashboards, deep dives, and post-campaign analyses.
- Liaise with external agencies, platform partners (Meta, affiliates), and vendors to ensure seamless execution.
Testing, Optimization \& Insights
- Run structured A/B tests across creatives, audiences, formats, and landing experiences.
- Leverage first party and third-party data to refine targeting and improve NMV: GMV efficiency.
- Identify performance trends, diagnose issues quickly, and implement optimizations at speed.
- Prepare regular performance reports with clear insights and action points for stakeholders.
Stakeholder \& Platform Management
- Coordinate with Meta account managers and affiliate partners to stay updated on platform changes, betas, and best practices.
- Support forecasting, performance reviews, and quarterly planning exercises.
- Ensure strong operational hygiene across tagging, dashboards, documentation, and reporting timelines.
Key Requirements
- 1–4 years of hands-on experience in performance marketing, preferably within e-commerce, retail, or D2C.
- Strong executional experience on Meta Ads Manager, including campaign setup, optimization, and reporting.
- Exposure to video-led performance campaigns and/or affiliate marketing programs is a strong plus.
- Experience working with tools such as GA4, AppsFlyer/Adjust, and platform-native dashboards.
- Highly comfortable in operational roles requiring continuous follow-ups, coordination, and multitasking.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into clear actions.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment.
- Clear communication skills with attention to detail and process discipline
