Procurement Manager – Strategic Sourcing \& Vendor Operations

A fast-growing global financial technology organization is seeking a Procurement Manager to join its strategic operations team. This role will play a key part in managing vendor partnerships, overseeing procurement processes, and supporting enterprise-wide operational initiatives across multiple business functions.

Reporting to senior leadership within Strategy \& Operations, the ideal candidate will bring a strong background in procurement, contract negotiations, vendor governance, and cross-functional collaboration. This is a hands-on position suited for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, highly regulated, and technology-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

Vendor Strategy \& Procurement Operations

  • Lead sourcing initiatives across indirect spend categories, including technology, consulting services, marketing, and other corporate functions.
  • Manage the end-to-end vendor lifecycle, including supplier evaluation, RFP/RFQ processes, onboarding, performance monitoring, renewals, and offboarding activities.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with external partners while serving as a key escalation and negotiation point for commercial matters.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to identify procurement needs and deliver scalable sourcing solutions aligned with business objectives.

Contracts, Financial Oversight \& Compliance

  • Coordinate and oversee commercial agreements, statements of work, and vendor-related documentation in collaboration with legal and finance teams.
  • Support cost management initiatives by identifying savings opportunities, improving vendor terms, and monitoring procurement expenditures.
  • Review vendor invoices and payment workflows to ensure accuracy, timely processing, and resolution of billing discrepancies.
  • Ensure procurement activities align with internal controls, compliance standards, and company policies.

Process Improvement \& Cross-Functional Partnership

  • Develop and enhance procurement policies, systems, and operational workflows to improve efficiency, visibility, and governance.
  • Act as an internal resource for procurement best practices, providing guidance and support to business teams throughout the sourcing process.
  • Collaborate closely with Finance, Legal, Operations, and other departments to streamline procurement and vendor management activities.
  • Contribute to strategic initiatives focused on operational scalability and process optimization.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, vendor management, or supply chain operations.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills with experience handling complex vendor agreements.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Experience working within financial services, technology, fintech, or other regulated industries is preferred.
