Reporting to: Regional Sales Manager

Role Overview

This dynamic role offers the opportunity to lead and grow Meril’s Endo-Surgery business while partnering with an elite group of surgeons to help patients benefit from innovative reconstruction therapies that significantly improve patients’ quality of life.

The purpose of the Area Sales Manager (ASM) role is to promote and sell Meril’s Endo-Surgery products to healthcare professionals (HCPs), such as surgeons and hospitals. The primary goal is to increase product and brand awareness and drive sales performance within the assigned territory.

The ASM is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with healthcare professionals, delivering product information and presentations, monitoring competitor activities and achieving defined sales targets. The role plays a crucial part in educating HCPs on the features and benefits of Meril’s Endo-Surgery product portfolio and ensuring the safe and effective intraoperative use of the products.

The Account Sales Manager (ASM) position is a field-based sales role for the Meril Endo-Surgery portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Performance \& Territory Ownership:

Drive field-based sales and business development within the assigned territory, own territory performance and deliver against defined revenue, growth, and qualitative targets

  • Go-to-Market Strategy \& Business Development:

Develop and execute go-to-market initiatives to increase product penetration and achieve sustainable growth, identify and develop new business opportunities in alignment with commercial strategy

  • Key Account \& Stakeholder Relationship Management:

Serve as the primary point of contact for key clinical and procurement stakeholders, build and maintain long-term, value-based customer relationships

  • Clinical Expertise, Training \& Professional Education:

Provide clinical and technical support during product introduction and intraoperative use, deliver targeted product training, workshops, and professional education programs

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration \& Ethical Practices:

Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure efficient customer service and order management, act in full compliance with ethical standards, company policies, and local regulations

Your Profile

  • University degree or comparable qualification
  • 5\+ years of successful sales experience in medical devices or hospital environments
  • Experience in Endo-Surgery is a strong advantage
  • Solid clinical and technical understanding
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills
  • Highly self-motivated, structured, and results-driven
  • Willingness to travel; residence within the territory is preferred
  • Fluent in German and English
