Position Summary
Protects the financial interest of the Tribe in gaming operations and maintains the integrity and fairness of gaming operations on the reservation through internal control and audit procedures. This position is a grade N14; pay is $32\.69/hourly.
Education And Experience
Must have a BA/BS in Accounting, Business, or a related field OR a total of 5 years of experience in Gaming compliance.
Must have 5 years of experience in administering technical regulations and be able to read with comprehension and apply federal, state, and tribal technical regulations.
Must have 3 years of supervisory experience.
Must have a general knowledge of casino accounting procedures.
Must possess the ability to perform gaming device testing and software certification checks.
Must have computer experience and a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and the Internet.
Must have a valid Driver’s License for state of residency and be insurable under the Tribal vehicle insurance policy.
Must never have been convicted of a felony or a crime of misdemeanor domestic violence in State, Tribal or Federal court. Must not have been convicted of or placed on a deferred judgment for any misdemeanor crime for 1 year prior to appt. M ust not have any felony or gaming related convictions.
Must be of excellent character and reputation and pass a thorough background check including fingerprints.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of PeopleSoft.
Knowledge of Southern Ute and/or State of Colorado Gaming and Criminal Codes.
