What You Will Be Doing

• Architect and execute premium learning engagements – Develop workshops spanning mathematics, science, philosophy, and creative writing while offering 1-on-1 guidance to 15-20 gifted learners advancing at 5-10x conventional speed
• Identify and resolve learning barriers – Modify strategies dynamically to support students who have surpassed traditional educational structures in discovering their intellectual advantage
• Apply AI tools for customization
• Partner and refine – Enhance workshop frameworks alongside colleagues and measure effectiveness using both qualitative observations and quantitative data

Basic Requirements

Academic Guide key responsibilities

• Top-tier education – Bachelor's degree from Ivy League institution or equivalent university
• Academic excellence – National Merit Finalist, Olympiad medalist, early college graduation, or comparable distinction
• Elite academic signal – Prestigious scholarship (Rhodes, Fulbright, NSF GRFP), Mensa/Triple Nine Society membership, PhD, or university-level teaching experience
• 3 years mentorship experience – Coaching, mentoring, or teaching students in any capacity
• Daily AI usage – Self-reported use of generative AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, etc.)
• Location – Willingness to relocate to or work in-person in Austin (Georgetown), TX
• Work authorization – Legal right to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

Working with us

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $75 USD/hour, which equates to $150,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
