Senior Manager of Compensation

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Manager Of Compensation to join the team of a leader in the Aerospace \& Defense space. This role will own compensation, benefits, and rewards programs that help attract, retain, and motivate talent at scale. You will partner with people leaders, finance, and executive stakeholders to align rewards programs with business needs and employee experience. The position offers the opportunity to strengthen pay practices, improve program governance, and create more consistent outcomes across the organization within a Aerospace \& Defense environment.

Location: San Francisco, CA - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $207,000 – $253,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders to guide compensation decisions
• Translate compensation data into meaningful insights for decision-making
• Build and maintain competitive salary bands and bonus structures
• Educate managers and employees about compensation methodologies
• Collaborate on executive compensation strategies and equity programs

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in compensation roles, preferably in tech
• Strong understanding of executive compensation across private and public entities
• Ability to transform complex compensation data into actionable insights
• Experience working in fast-growing companies with international teams
• Exceptional communication skills to explain compensation clearly and concisely
