About the Role
The firm is seeking a Risk Analyst to support its discretionary trading business. This position will focus on monitoring, evaluating, and managing the risk profile of trading strategies while working closely with traders and quantitative researchers.
Responsibilities
- Assessing and monitoring risk exposures associated with discretionary trading strategies
- Partnering with quantitative researchers and traders to analyse and evaluate strategy behaviour
- Ensuring trading strategies operate within the risk limits established by the Investment Committee
- Analysing portfolio-level risk and identifying key drivers of performance
- Supporting trade portfolio construction across the discretionary trading platform
- Contributing to the development and enhancement of the firm’s risk management framework, including processes and infrastructure supporting the discretionary business
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline such as Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Financial Engineering, Operations Research, Computer Science, or Physics
- An advanced degree is advantageous
Required Skills
- Strong interest in risk management within financial markets
- Interest in applying quantitative and analytical methods to trading strategies
- Ability to work collaboratively with traders, analysts, and quantitative researchers
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with teams across global offices
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with a strong sense of urgency

- Suitable for graduates or candidates with up to three years of professional experience
