Your work profile

The

Consultant/Senior Consultant

will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering scalable backend applications using

Java and Spring Boot

. The role involves building enterprise-grade microservices, developing RESTful APIs, implementing software engineering best practices, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, maintainable applications.

The ideal candidate should possess strong backend development expertise, a solid understanding of software design principles, experience with cloud-native technologies, and a passion for building scalable, resilient, and high-performing enterprise applications.

Key skills required

• 3–9 years

of experience in Java Backend Development.

• Strong hands-on experience with

Java (8\+/17\+)

and

Spring Boot

.

• Hands-on experience designing and developing applications using

Microservices Architecture

.

• Strong knowledge of

RESTful API

design and development.

• Solid understanding of software engineering principles including:
• SOLID Principles
• DRY
• Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
• Strong understanding and practical implementation of GoF

Design Patterns

.

• Experience implementing centralized exception handling using Spring Boot best practices.
• Expertise in Aspect-Oriented Programming (AOP) using Spring AOP for logging, security, transaction management, and other cross-cutting concerns.
• Experience with unit testing frameworks such as

JUnit

,

Mockito

, and integration testing.

• Experience implementing

CI/CD pipelines

and following DevOps best practices.

• Hands-on experience with

Docker

and exposure to

Kubernetes

for containerization and orchestration.

• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional Agile teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Education
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Exposure to event-driven architecture using Apache Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Experience with logging frameworks such as SLF4J, Log4j, or Logback.
• Familiarity with API Gateway, Service Discovery, and related Spring Cloud components.
• Experience developing enterprise-scale distributed systems.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
• Cloud, Java, or Kubernetes certifications would be an added advantage.
