Controller - $180k-$200k + 20-30% Bonus + Equity - Galleria

Outstanding and very reputable smaller - midsize Medical Equipment manufacturing company, located in Houston by the Galleria, are looking for a Controller for an immediate need. P/E backed, healthcare medical device company. Absolutely wonderful leadership, offer work life balance, stability and path to CFO.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee all accounting functions, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, international consolidations , and internal controls
• Lead all core accounting functions globally, including general ledger, AP/AR, and month end close, delivering timely and accurate financials along with insightful variance analysis.
• Lead external audits (domestic and international), coordinate with auditors, and ensure flawless execution.
• Manage a team of 3-4
• Develop budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis
• Implement and maintain internal controls and accounting and relevant operational policies
• Manage audits, tax filings, and compliance requirements
• Provide financial insights to support operational and strategic initiatives
• Stay ahead of emerging accounting/regulatory trends and provide proactive guidance to management.

Qualifications, Education, and Experience Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
• 6-7\+ years of Total experience minimum
• public accounting experience (audit or advisory) strongly preferred
• years of industry accounting/finance experience (manufacturing or medical device a plus)
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
• Experience working in small to mid-sized growth companies
• Hands-on, detail-oriented, and able to operate both strategically and tactically
• Strong Excel and accounting system skills (ERP experience a plus
