About the Role

Wholesale Account Manager will lead the strategy, execution, and growth of Foria’s Wholesale business. This role is responsible for building strong retail partnerships, expanding distribution, and scaling revenue and profitability across national retailers and specialty boutiques. The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on—energized by opening new accounts, optimizing existing relationships, and championing Foria’s leadership in the sexual wellness category.

Key Responsibilities

Wholesale Strategy \& Revenue Growth

  • Define and execute the wholesale growth strategy to achieve annual revenue, margin, and distribution goals.
  • Develop category-specific sales strategies, targets, and margin structures.
  • Create and lead a national sales plan to expand Foria’s presence with both new and existing retailers.
  • Identify and capitalize on opportunities to maximize revenue, profitability, and long-term account value.

Retail Excellence \& Brand Leadership

  • Protect and extend Foria’s first-mover advantage in sexual wellness through optimized shelf placement, facings, and merchandising.
  • Establish Foria as the premier, most sought-after brand within the retail merchant community.
  • Deliver compelling sales presentations and represent the brand at key B2B events and industry forums.
  • Effectively communicate Foria’s brand story, product benefits, and category leadership to retail partners.

Sales Planning \& Forecasting

  • Oversee all aspects of sales planning, including demand planning, forecasting, and pipeline management.
  • Provide regular reporting to the leadership team, including weekly pipeline updates, pacing, and prioritization insights.
  • Collaborate with the product team to support inventory management through strategic wholesale promotions and sell-through initiatives.

Trade Marketing \& Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Own retail marketing budgets aligned with the wholesale P\&L.
  • Partner with Marketing to develop innovative, insight-driven trade marketing programs across digital and brick-and-mortar channels.
  • Work cross-functionally with Brand, Operations, Product, and DTC teams to deliver a seamless omnichannel consumer experience.

Market Expertise

  • Maintain deep, forward-looking knowledge of the sexual wellness, hemp/CBD, and intimacy categories within wholesale, retail environments \& nutritional supplement markets.
  • Monitor competitive dynamics, retail trends, and regulatory considerations impacting the category.

Team Leadership

  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing sales team as the business scales.
  • Foster a results-driven, collaborative culture aligned with Foria’s mission and values.

What You Bring to Foria

  • Proven track record of growing market share through wholesale and retail distribution channels.
  • Strong new-business development mindset with experience opening new accounts and channels.
  • Demonstrated success in defining, communicating, and executing sales strategies.
  • Comfort, confidence, and fluency in discussing sexual wellness and CBD topics with retail partners.
  • Polished, persuasive communicator and presenter.
  • Experience managing a wholesale P\&L and driving profitable growth.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of an organization.
  • Minimum of 8 years in sales leadership or business planning roles.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.

Success Metrics

  • Wholesale Revenue:

Achievement of agreed-upon sales targets

  • Wholesale Profitability:

Margin performance inclusive of sales, marketing, and promotional spend

  • New Account Growth:

Number and quality (average size) of new accounts opened

  • Account Performance:

Sell-through, repeat orders, and growth of existing accounts

Total compensation for this position in the Los Angeles area is targeted at $125K\+ in base salary and $30K-$80K in bonus. Bonuses are paid both quarterly and annually. Base pay will depend on the candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other factors. Bonuses are tied to individual and company performance. An equity incentive may also be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to medical and matching 401(k) benefits. Foria provides wellness Fridays \& unlimited PTO.
