General Function
Responsible for complying with all State and Federal laws, rule and regulations to fill prescriptions, and operate daily activities.
Position Overview
Neighborhood Health Association (NHA) is seeking a highly capable, motivated, and team-oriented
Pharmacist to join our pharmacy team. This role blends operational excellence with meaningful
clinical impact, offering an opportunity to practice at a high level while directly improving patient
outcomes. The ideal candidate is intellectually curious, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering

Key Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense medications in compliance with all state and federal regulations
- Oversee daily pharmacy workflow to ensure efficiency, safety, and high-quality service
- Supervise and support pharmacy technicians and staff
- Maintain proper inventory management, storage, and recordkeeping
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, including Ohio Board of Pharmacy requirements
- Support and optimize 340B program operations and medication access
- Provide medication counseling and patient education to improve adherence and outcomes
- Identify and resolve medication-related problems (interactions, duplications, adherence gaps)
- Collaborate with providers and care teams on medication therapy decisions
- Support chronic disease management (e.g., diabetes, hypertension)
- Contribute to medication therapy management (MTM), transitions of care, and care coordination
Qualifications
Required:
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited institution
- Active pharmacist license (or eligibility) in Ohio
- Strong clinical knowledge and sound professional judgment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to manage both operational and clinical responsibilities effectively
Preferred
- Prior experience in a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) or similar setting
- Experience with 340B programs
