Job Description
For our client, we are seeking a Senior Manager Compensation to join the team of a leader in the Finance \& Insurance space. This role will own compensation, benefits, and rewards programs that help attract, retain, and motivate talent at scale. You will partner with people leaders, finance, and executive stakeholders to align rewards programs with business needs and employee experience. The position offers the opportunity to strengthen pay practices, improve program governance, and create more consistent outcomes across the organization within a regulated financial services environment.
Location: New York, NY - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $212,440 – $265,550 annually
Responsibilities
- Develop and communicate the company’s total rewards strategy aligned with business goals
- Manage compensation programs through benchmarking and market surveys
- Oversee annual merit cycles to ensure pay parity and competitive compensation
- Educate the organization on compensation philosophies and practices
- Lead initiatives to refine the company’s compensation model for scale
- Measure and track compensation-related indicators for informed decision-making
- Collaborate with leaders to refine roles and incentive models
- Work with Recruiting and Finance on offer competitiveness and fiscal responsibility
- Produce ad hoc analyses based on business needs and Compensation Committee requests
- Assist in completing regulatory compliance reports
Qualifications
- 8\+ years of experience in Compensation administration
- Exceptional attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to handle multiple priorities under tight deadlines
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- Excellent Excel or Google Sheets proficiency; Pave knowledge is a plus
