As we continue to grow across Australia and Asia, we're seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to lead our marketing strategies and drive enquiry generation, student enrolments and brand growth.
About the Role
Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will take ownership of AFA's marketing strategy and execution, ensuring campaigns generate high-quality leads while achieving budget and revenue targets.
This is a hands-on role that combines strategic planning, digital marketing, content creation, campaign management, agency oversight and performance reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute marketing strategies to achieve monthly enquiry targets across AFA and AFA Asia
- Oversee digital agency performance of key marketing campaigns, including:
- Google Ads
- Microsoft Ads
- SEO
- Remarketing campaigns
- Develop and execute social media advertising campaigns, and regularly post engaging, credible and on-brand organic social content posts
- Monitor marketing budgets and campaign performance to achieve cost-per-lead and cost-per-sale targets
- Manage relationships with external agencies and marketing suppliers, as well as liaising with internal resources, including Graphic Designer and Videographer
- Maintain and update website content, landing pages and course listings to ensure accuracy and relevance
- Produce marketing collateral, including emails, brochures, information packs, newsletters and student communications
- Introduce new marketing channels and initiatives that enhance brand exposure and lead generation opportunities
- Coordinate trade shows, events and promotional activities
- Work closely with the Sales \& Business Development Manager to drive enrolment growth
- Prepare monthly reports on enquiries, conversions, demographics and marketing ROI
- Analyse market trends, industry trends and competitor activity
- Ensure all marketing activities comply with Registered Training Organisation (RTO) compliance requirements
About You
You are a commercially minded marketer who enjoys balancing strategy with hands-on execution. You understand how to generate and nurture leads, optimise campaign performance and deliver measurable outcomes.
Essential Skills \& Experience
- Proven experience developing and executing high-level marketing strategies and campaigns
- Strong understanding of PPC advertising, SEO, social media marketing and lead generation
- Experience in maintaining and updating websites, including using CRM systems
- Proficiency with:
- Adobe Creative Suite
- WordPress
- Unbounce (or similar)
- Mailchimp (or similar)
- Google Analytics
- Marketing degree or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a Marketing Manager role

- Passion for health and fitness
- Experience and/or understanding of the vocational education sector
