As a Professional Engineer, Electrical, you will play a critical role delivering expert investigations and reporting that support both technical resolutions and legal proceedings, while benefiting from the flexibility of remote work.

Responsibilities:

  • Complete hands-on failure analysis assignments in the field and testing facility.
  • Document investigative facts and finalize reports detailing findings.
  • Apply engineering theories and knowledge to real-world electrical failure situations.
  • Deliver high-quality assignments on schedule as requested by clients.
  • Prepare to testify and support forensic findings when required.
  • Consistently uphold ethical engineering and investigative practices.
  • Communicate findings clearly in both written and verbal formats.

Must-Have Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Active Licensed Professional Engineer (PE).
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in electrical engineering roles.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and detail orientation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical reporting and testimony.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to pass background checks as required.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Prior experience with forensic engineering or failure analysis of electrical systems.
  • Background in providing expert witness testimony or legal support.
  • Familiarity with ethical standards in investigative engineering practices.
  • Self-motivation and ability to manage assignments independently in remote settings.
