Job Description

We're working with a leading e-commerce disruptor in the industrial supply space on this exciting opportunity.

Are you ready to take ownership of the employee lifecycle in a high-growth environment? We are looking for a high-Grit HR professional to drive fulfillment operations in Columbus, managing everything from full-cycle recruiting and onboarding to complex FMLA administration and employee relations using modern HRIS tools.

The Role

  • Lead the full-cycle talent acquisition process, including conducting second-round interviews, extending offers, and executing a seamless onboarding experience.
  • Act as the subject matter expert for benefits administration, overseeing health, dental, vision, 401(k) matching, and Life Insurance programs.
  • Manage complex leave administration including Medical, FMLA, Disability, and Workers' Compensation cases to ensure full compliance and employee support.
  • Drive operational excellence by maintaining accurate timecards, overseeing payroll processing, and managing attendance policies via sophisticated tracking systems.
  • Partner with the Leadership Team to conduct sensitive workplace investigations, manage disciplinary actions, and facilitate annual performance appraisals.

What You'll Need

  • 1-3 years of proven experience in a Human Resources Generalist or Coordinator role, ideally within a fast-paced retail or distribution environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or a related field; SHRM-CP or PHR certifications are highly preferred.
  • Deep functional knowledge of federal, state, and local labor laws (FLSA, FMLA, ADA) and experience navigating complex compliance requirements.
  • Technical proficiency with HRIS platforms, MS Office Suite, and Google Workspace to manage data-driven HR processes.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to handle high-stakes personnel matters with total confidentiality and professionalism.
