Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced

Carpenter with a strong background in custom millwork

to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience fabricating, assembling, and installing high-end custom millwork, cabinetry, architectural woodwork, and specialty interiors.

The successful candidate should be detail-oriented, skilled with both hand and power tools, and able to read architectural drawings, shop drawings, and millwork details.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret architectural drawings, shop drawings, elevations, and millwork details.
• Fabricate, assemble, modify, and install custom millwork and cabinetry.
• Install architectural woodwork, wall paneling, doors, trim, moldings, built-ins, and specialty millwork.
• Work with materials including solid wood, plywood, MDF, veneers, laminates, and other architectural finishes.
• Accurately measure, cut, fit, and install components according to project specifications.
• Operate woodworking and carpentry tools safely and efficiently.
• Perform field modifications and adjustments as required during installation.
• Ensure all work meets project drawings, specifications, quality standards, and tolerances.
• Coordinate with project managers, installers, subcontractors, and other trades on-site.
• Identify potential installation or fabrication issues and communicate them to management.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Protect finished surfaces and completed work during installation.
• Follow all company and job-site safety requirements.

Qualifications

• 3\+ years of professional carpentry experience

, preferably in custom millwork or architectural interiors.

• Strong experience with

custom cabinetry and architectural millwork installation

.

• Ability to read and understand shop drawings and architectural plans.
• Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and woodworking equipment.
• Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques, joinery, fitting, and installation.
• Ability to take accurate field measurements.
• Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable, organized, and professional.
• Ability to work efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Experience with high-end residential, hospitality, commercial, or luxury interiors is a plus.

Preferred Skills

• Experience installing high-end custom millwork.
• Experience with veneer and laminate applications.
• Knowledge of concealed hardware, specialty hinges, drawer systems, and architectural hardware.
• Experience with wall paneling, tambour, reception desks, built-ins, and specialty architectural elements.
• Ability to troubleshoot field conditions and make precise modifications.
• Finish carpentry experience is highly preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and move materials and millwork components.
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and work for extended periods.
• Ability to work in active construction environments.
• Ability to safely operate carpentry and installation equipment.
