Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Operations Manager to oversee and optimize daily operations. This role is responsible for driving efficiency, managing budgets, ensuring cost control, and leading cross-functional teams to meet production and financial goals. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, strategic planning, and financial acumen, with a proven track record in manufacturing environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee end-to-end manufacturing operations, ensuring production targets, quality standards, and safety requirements are consistently met
  • Lead, mentor, and develop operations teams, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
  • Develop and manage annual budgets, monitor financial performance, and ensure alignment with organizational goals
  • Own and manage P\&L responsibilities, including revenue, costs, and profitability metrics
  • Drive cost control initiatives to improve operational efficiency and reduce waste
  • Develop and execute forecasting and production planning strategies to meet demand and optimize resource utilization
  • Collaborate with supply chain, procurement, and quality teams to ensure seamless operations
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and implement lean manufacturing or continuous improvement initiatives
  • Monitor KPIs and operational metrics, providing regular reporting to senior leadership
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory, safety, and environmental standards

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field (required)
  • Minimum of 8\+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, with increasing levels of responsibility
  • Proven leadership experience, managing teams and driving performance in a production environment
  • Strong experience in budgeting, forecasting, and P\&L management
  • Demonstrated success in cost control and operational efficiency improvements
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies
  • Advanced degree (MBA or related field) is a plus
  • Experience with ERP systems and data-driven decision-making
