Job Description
The Architect will support the design and delivery of architectural scope on mission-critical data centre projects. The role focuses on coordinating design information, ensuring compliance with project requirements, and integrating architectural elements with CSA and MEP systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the development and coordination of architectural design packages
- Review drawings, specifications, and technical submittals
- Ensure alignment of architectural scope with CSA, MEP, and client requirements
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and specialist vendors
- Monitor design progress and support timely delivery in line with project programme
- Ensure compliance with building regulations, codes, and project standards
- Assist with site inspections and resolve design-related issues during construction
- Support handover documentation and as-built records
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in architectural design and delivery within construction projects
- Experience on data centre or mission-critical projects is advantageous
- Strong understanding of building regulations, materials, and detailing
- Ability to read, review, and coordinate technical design information
- Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills
Desirable:
- Experience working in multidisciplinary teams on large-scale projects
- Familiarity with BIM/Revit and common data environments (CDE)
- Understanding of fire safety, access control, and secure building design
