is looking for a Data Architect \& Tooling Specialist to maintain, enhance, and oversee our data platform, ensuring its scalability, reliability, and continuous evolution.

What you would do:

• Develop and maintain the

data product catalog, lineage, and metadata standards

.

• Design, implement, and continuously improve a

centralized metadata repository

.

• Define and enforce

semantic models

, including business vocabularies, canonical entities, and logical data contracts.

• Maintain

automatically updated lineage graphs

and align efforts with

bank-wide initiatives

.

• Provide

transparent dashboards

for lineage, access logs, and data quality, supporting business users, auditors, and regulators.

• Lead

quarterly data governance reviews

, focusing on data ownership and access.

• Implement

self-service data product templates

with embedded semantic metadata.

• Introduce

observability

for data pipelines and lineage updates.

• Collaborate with domain owners to

capture business definitions

and map them to technical entities.

• Conduct

metadata best practice sessions

and

mentor engineers

on semantic annotations.

What you need to bring:

• Observability \& Monitoring:

Hands-on experience with

Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry

, or equivalent tools for pipeline monitoring.

• Tooling \& Automation:

Expertise in

CI/CD workflows

,

dbt

(or similar), and orchestration tools like

Airflow, Dagster, or Prefect

.

• Metadata Management:

Proven ability to

build and maintain data catalogs and lineage systems

using tools such as

DataHub, Amundsen, Collibra, or Alation

.

• Semantic Modeling:

Skilled in designing

business vocabularies, canonical data models, and data contracts

. Experience with

Data Mesh

or other domain-oriented data products is a plus; knowledge of

formal verification

is highly valued.

• AI-Assisted Data Quality:

Practical experience with

ML-based data profiling tools

(e.g., Great Expectations \+ ML, Monte Carlo, Datafold, Bigeye) or the ability to

develop custom Python models

for anomaly detection.
